Photography gives me life and my life a meaning, it reveals my personality to the audience. Over the few years that I have been involved in photography courses, the day I was offered my first Nikon D3200 was the day I became involved with photography which varied from nature to portraits of models. Today, I attend as much event as I can in DC, Atlanta, and LA ( when I used to reside there).
Photography is art which allows the artist to communicate their emotions and ideas through various concepts used to tell their stories. The idea of photography is to create mood and each window leads into a moment into what the artist eventually value it; When i shoot photographs it is never specific moments my camera is like my hand bag it is forever with me. The idea of photography is to make my vision come through by shooting, i was once told that all art is self-destructive and if i do not know that then i will not be a successful artist. Photography is a way for me to connect with people, when I decide to shoot a few portrays of strangers to test my skills; I do go out and make it work and if the photo looks interesting then I gain the interest and connection of the individual. being a photography gave me the opportunity to be more observant about the world around me, which has allowed me to notice things around me. Also, photography keeps my mind sharp because it avoids me to focus only on myself rather it allows me to look forward to upcoming events and holidays since as a photographer there is always something to capture. In addition, shooting various photos builds self-esteem and pushed me out of my comfort zone, at first I was afraid but the art that photography has demonstrated to me has allowed me not to only gain connections but to build my confidence by shooting strangers whom I thought would be more self-centered and rude. For the audience the idea to is be confidant in shooting images and do not lessen yourself to failure, shoot themes that interest you which you have passion for. However, I have learned to shoot themes out of my interest but learned to go beyond my comfort zone, as the feeling of reluctance eventually fades.
The impact that photography has on me is remarkable, i feel it strong in my skin which brings me closer to the various things I love to do which varies from nature to portraits of model events. different people like different things, as for me it does not matter as long as it is out of my comfort zone and I have a different perspective of them each time i go through them. Also, the major spark in my interest comes from watching TV shows with models and nature; this is something that makes it different and allows me to develop my point of interest. Nevertheless, I find it amazing to what extent photography has really gotten under my skin; I sometimes love looking at magazines and books that tells stories about photography. Honestly, the motivation about photography has come and gone as I've developed interests in different things, though I find that it has been something that has been the one persistent in my life. Photography is something that is more accessible for individuals these days due to the advancement in technologies, where we have iPhones and samsung being produced on a yearly basis obtaining new features.
